Tha Vill signed a territorial Record Deal to Canada’s largest urban indy record label, GCP recordings wich is distributed by Fontana/Universal to release his single “Ride It” on October 1st 2010 in Canada only and is already climbing the charts in that market.

‘More Than Friends’ has been taking over international dancefloors and become a favourite with club DJ’s across the UK. It entered the DMC Top 10 r&b club chart in the Spring, and was recently Number 1 on Australia's ZFM. He was also covered in UK’s Music Week which sold out. This single is proving to be the latest in a prolific international career .

Enjoying over 9.5 million song plays on Myspace, Tha Vill has consistently averaged 200,000 downloads for each independently released single to date. Plus his own mixtape ‘Approaching Earth’ secured 105,000 downloads in the first 10 days of August. The video for his single ‘Ride It’ has been in high rotation all summer on Canada’s top music video channels and is among one of the most requested songs on stations across Canada.
